Sharks, Devin Setoguchi Close to a Short-Term Deal

While negotiations with Joe Thornton are just getting started, GM Doug Wilson and the Sharks are close to signing restricted free agent Devin Setoguchi to a contract that will most likely be a one-year deal.

Both sides are optimistic it could happen in the next week. In just his second year in the NHL, Setoguchi scored 31 goals. Last season, he had 20 goals in 70 games, along with five goals in the playoffs.
